Valencia, day 1 - L'Hemisfèric

The day started when it started: at midnight, when I was getting ready to leave for Schiphol airport. I picked up Johan in Groningen and then we drove to the airport, where we met the group that we will be guiding this week in Valencia. I didn't sleep at all before starting our journey. It was a very long day and I'm up for 24 hours as I type this. I did manage to sleep somewhat between lunch and dinner and now I'm going to try to get some real sleep!

We took the group to the futuristic looking "Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències": the city of arts and sciences. This is the building called "L'Hemisfèric", which houses an IMAX movie theatre.
