I've remarked before how hardy oak leaves seem to be and still I'm finding examples of last year's remains surviving into spring after most others have ground to dust.

Today's temperatures topped out at 82°F, which, although very welcome and definitely in shorts territory, is very unusual. What that might foretell for the coming year I don't know.

The light on the water this evening was quite special - a sort of light gold.
