Now, Where Did I Leave My Bike?

We’ve headed down to Bournemouth for a few nights, staying in a “Luxury Beach Lodge” (aka glorified beach hut) overlooking Boscombe beach. Actually, it’s “compact” but very comfortable and well appointed as the estate agents might say.

We stopped at Shaftesbury on the way for a stretch of the legs and lunch overlooking Gold Hill, in the blip here, famous as the setting for the classic Hovis ad featuring a cloth-capped baker’s lad and his antique delivery bike.

Walked along the prom into Bournemouth tonight for a very tasty meal in Wagamama’s.
