Backblip


AKA emergency flower blip :D 

No swim for me this morning as D was on the golf course by 8am!

Early golf as Alan's pal Andrew was coming to stay till Wednesday so he wanted to be here when he arrived.  

Ashleigh took Alan to meet up with Andrew and his mum at Dundee.  While they were gone I took my chance to start my new crochet project.  Wasn't meant to be using this yarn just now (other projects in the pipeline) but I love it so much I couldn't resist :-)

Ashleigh, Alan and Andrew arrived back.  Andrew was full of the joys and delighted to be here.  We wished us Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as he hasn't seen us since October!  

We gave him his Christmas present and his Easter egg!  lol  He is over the moon with the fleecy blanket I had printed with photos from the Lancashire holiday.  

They all went into the pool for a swim splash (!) before dinner.   Alan and Andrew had a great time.  It was a very loud pool session between loud music blaring and Andrew laughing!

Took the easy route and had a Chinese takeaway for dinner.  Alan and Andrew watched a couple of films before Alan went to bed just after 11pm, Andrew had a cuppa and was in his bed by half eleven, and D and relished the silence for a little while before heading to bed ourselves :-))

And that was Monday!
