Save the Energy Euan!

Some of you may recall we brought the play house down from the loft back in December and it was in serious need of tlc, being well used when the girls were young, and a bit nibbled whilst in storage.  It went away with the wonderful Robert who saw it as a project, and it returned recently.

The house presented Robert with several challenges, it being ingeniously designed and created by my Dad.  The lighting system had to be entirely renewed, it deemed no longer being safe for modern little ones.  Robert replaced the carpets, including the very tricky stair carpet, redecorated throughout and fixed the lift.  I was tempted to furnish it with the simple, wooden furniture I have acquired, but I'm going to leave that for Euan to enjoy discovering and doing.

It's smashing to have the house back to how it was when Dad first surprised us with it and I've been thinking a lot about him since it returned.  Well done Dad and well done Robert. xx
