Dave and the Memorial

I walked down and through Bingley and up the other side of the valley this morning to have some silver put in my hair at Hannah's.  En route I came across Dave the StoneMason updating the WIs stone in Jubilee Gardens.  I hope he puts an apostrophe in Queen's!

Hannah phoned whilst I was headed her way to tell me there was a power cut at hers, so she suggested sorting my colour and trimming my hair then she would drive me home and dry it there!  What a star she is.

After lunch I was out on the Moor with friend Angela for a somewhat chilly walk.

Interesting that the WI are called the Five Rise Frocks, a play on the famous local Five Rise Locks.  I wonder if any men have ever tried to join the WI.......
