Goblin Valley

K & M and young C joined us last night and we camped out in the vast open BLM country just outside the Sate Park. Windy and dusty, but the landscape is stunning. Makes one feel small, just two vans parked up against the cliffs. But the pressure on these wilderness areas is immense. Although there is no-one else in sight, just around the corner, in every little alcove, nook and cranny, is another rig of some sort, a little van like ours or a huge RV or 5th wheel trailer. And it is not even "the season" yet, overnight temperatures dropping to almost freezing.
