Canyons

Today we hiked the loop trail up Little Wild Horse Canyon, across the tops, and back down Bell Canyon. The former is very tight in places, but absolutely stunning. Bell Canyon is more open but would still not be a nice place to be if heavy rains and flash floods threatened.
As it was, we did feel a bit uncomfortable across the tops when the clouds blackened and it snowed a bit. My worry was having young C with us which slowed things a little and I was impatient to get through before anything became serious. But it all came to nothing. And as one passer-by commented, if it snows it is not going to flood - you'll be fine!!
