Stiperstoned

Flexi-Friday meant escaping to the hills this morning. We did a lovely route to Nipstone Rock, which I’ve never been to before, and then doubled back over the Stiperstones as far as the Devil’s Chair. The terrain up there is hard even for walking, so running it was definitely tricky! But a brilliant morning was had! My friend and fellow runner, Eva, is a Hungarian crime writer and owner of multiple degrees. I’m glad she has to speak to me in her third language because I fear she’d leave me behind in her first.

Back to the desk this afternoon and, annoyingly, the sun came out. Had to fight the desire to be in the garden, a tough battle.
