Potential for growth
As the outdoor day neared its end I realised I hadn't taken any pictures. An emergency blip was required and this is it.
The snow has nearly all melted away and the brown garden covered in dead vegetation emerges. I find it hard to believe that in a couple of months this desolate scene will be a riot of greenery and flowers, but I know that is how it will be.
Just how much of a "riot" it will be depends upon how much gardening we do, how much order we impose. Since we are taking a trip to England, plan to take time away in the camper van, and have a September election to work towards I suspect the garden will be fairly riotous!
We did a lot of raking today and burned most of the result (Jan's blip I think). Hence that dark patch just above the center of my picture.
The field outside our kitchen window also looks like this, but this morning there were two roe deer munching on something growing out of the mess. There was also a pigeon, and this season's first blackbird pecking around in the dead grass, and finding plenty of goodies to eat.
The first buds are appearing too, maybe tomorrow's blip?
Spring is such a dynamic time!
