Full day filled with fun.x

3 hours sleep and i just knew it was going to be a long day!!!
Lizzie flooded the bathroom and part of the bedroom before i even got out of bed this am!!!Knew i was going to get wet but didn't realise it was this early on in the day.
Breakfast and then off to the lake for a spot of canoeing. The wind was blowing a gale and the lake looked more like the sea with a good surf. Sat in the canoe without falling in or tipping a child into the water so i thought the worse was over. We ended up been towed out to the middle of the lake only to find it was not safe to stay out on the lake, got totally soaked, one child wanted to get off!!!! and then got towed back to shore.Another groups trip on a tour boat took on water and had to get everyone off on the otherside of the lake and wait to be bused back to the center.
Dried off then took thee children to the climbing wall. Even that was moving in the wind. They had a great time and was lovely to see them get to the top. Lunch then swimming and finally raft building. What a busy day, which was then finished off with games, bingo and a disco.
The children then went off to pack and get a good nights sleep.
Managed a shower without a flood! x
