Building

This was the site of a burnt out hotel which has been erased from the face of the earth to be replaced by yet more houses. There are a LOT of houses going up, but no more schools, no more doctors' surgeries, no more parmacies, no more investment into the local community. The strain on infrastructure is beginning to show. And yet the house builders are making absolute fortunes out of this.

The whole A6 corridor between Preston and Lancaster is becoming one great huge long range of housing estates, and it's definitely changing the nature of the local community.

Progress? Good? Bad? Not sure.
