Fading

Just under five miles on our walk from the house today and I am nine miles short on target for my 1000 miles this year. There have been too many days of no walks this year. We spotted these white tulips that were past their best and fading. 
I made an effort to plant the new lavenders and a few other plants which have arrived as it promises to rain tomorrow. I have risked not taking in my tender seedlings overnight as well as it looks to be a bit warmer overnight.
The blue tits and great tits are still feeding. Sometimes I think the babies have died because there is no action for quite a while and then there is frequent visits.
