Looking through

We packed up early this morning as it was our last day in St Ives with a 9am check out.   It was a beautiful morning and we stopped at the ruins of Carn Galver tin mine and had a short walk over the fields.  The air was so clear with stunning views along the coast with the scent of gorse and the sounds of skylarks and linnets.  After this short stop we headed on to the Men an Tol and Lanyon Quoit ancient monuments which date back to around 3000 years BC.  It was lovely to hear the first cuckoos calling while around the Men an Tol monument.  I took several different views of these, think I still need to return at a later date though, see extras.

We then headed on to Port Leven for lunch and a stroll around before heading to Falmouth where we are staying for a few days.

Playing catchup as the internet wasn't good enough in Falmouth.
