More Japanese tranquillity

Bank holiday weekend and we knew everything would likely be quite busy so we booked early entry tickets for Cowden Japanese Garden.   Although the rain from yesterday had moved on, everything was still quite overcast but there were a few glimpses of sunshine.

I had hoped that the azaleas would have been further open but sadly we were just about a week too early, however there was still plenty to see.  A carpet of white daffodils was quite stunning and there were some unknown plants which I will now need to try and identify.

As usual the cafe did not disappoint with excellent home-made quiche and salad for lunch to set us up for the rest of the day.
