Castlerigg Stone Circle

Another glorious day's walking ..

... started from the Great Wood, on the Eastern-side of Derwentwater, going up and over Walla Crag, around Castlerigg Farm, along to the Stone Circle, and back via the marvelous Lady's Rake viewpoint, before descending Cat Gill and returning to the Great Wood :-)

Snap is of the Stone Circle obviously, but we had wonderful scenery along every stretch of the route.

9-miles in total today and we've still to do Cat Bells tomorrow ... weather forecast looking okay, so we should be good-to-go!
