Craiglockhart Pond swan-nest

Back in Edinburgh, and late this afternoon we went along to Craiglockhart Pond to check on the wildlife ...

... after all the local swan-saga of recent weeks, it was great to see the refreshed nest being tended again, and am fairly sure we saw at least 3 eggs under the female this time :-)

Lots of new coot-chicks also around - see extra!
