Remembering our first female Prime Minister.

Argh - just wrote my text and it vanished so here's a summary.

- don't remember much about her time in power, but remember parents didn't like her. As a child people (particularly foreigners) thought my sister was named after her.

- whatever her politics, she was the first female PM which is worth celebrating (even if she didn't exactly help other women achieve success.... but I've heard that that is what we women are like when we rise up the greasy pole - territorial!). And a family has lost a grandmother which is sad.

- apologies for quick snapshot. didn't catch the procession so this was taken at the bus stop on the way home with sun in my eyes and in between buses passing - flag at half mast over Houses of Parliament.
