Easter Hat!

Home-made effort for D's Easter bonnet parade. Bless him - we managed to get this creation in and out of London on rush hour trains with no damage (mostly carried in a bag which he and I took great care of. He chose the colour of the hat, Daddy went to the £ shop for chicks and rabbits and Mummy put the hat together. It was worth the effort to see D's face - he was very proud of it. I guess I should enjoy moments like that while I can - he's growing up so fast and I'm sure that next year I'll have to do something less fancy!

3 is a great age - while we are getting some spectacular toddler tantrums, we also get amazing moments of toddler adoration - there's nothing quite like a 3 year old's hugs and declarations of love - so heart-felt and beautifully expressed!
