It has to be done at this time of year! I'm sure I've blipped a very similar scene before ... oops, almost exactly one year ago. But they are irresistible.

S was out leading a walk. I was doing stuff. This included unravelling 8 cm of a sleeve of my prolonged knitting project because of an egregious error in measurement when starting the sleeves -- they were more suitable for a gorilla.

In the evening, to S and R's for drinks and barbecue with a few other neighbours -- we stayed outdoors till after 10:30, although to be fair we ended up huddling round the nice warm fire of vine stocks in the summer kitchen.
