Queen or King?

Either way this regally poised creature will become a monarch butterfly before long.
I've just added a couple of extras . We drove in the gate about 3 this afternoon to be greeted by these 3 Angus steers grazing on our lawn.We live on the city boundary and have small sections and life-style blocks and large farms and an orchard neighbouring our 2 acres. We had no idea where these chaps had come from but closed the gate onto the busy road and made sure they stayed on the lawn grazing and drinking from a garden tap I turned on while we rang police and then other authorities. A bit of a long 2 hour saga but in my past life I was married to a farmer so managing these 3 didn't phase me. Ultimately they hightailed it through an unfenced part of our garden, across the neighbours' drive and headed down the hill into the depths of the neighbouring commercial apple orchard , soon after being followed by the "rescue crew" arriving from Te Awamutu. Whether they located them or not, I have no idea. A couple of hours watching, waiting and guiding had worn these 2 ancient ones right out ; ))
The second extra shows our visitors very interested in the contents of Dr D's "toy shed" !
