Bank Holiday Monday

Yesterday’s rain has blown over, the garden is nicely watered and it’s not very warm.
Made MrD a pan of beef and vegetable stew, which considering the weather, was a perfect meal for him!
At lunchtime I fancied some salad and collected a handful of small leaves: Good King Henry, American land cress, red veined sorrel, common sorrel and a few baby Kale “Red Russian” … the Marigold (Calendula) has been included because there’s a little group of them and they are so colourful and make me smile :-))
Too cold and wet to do any gardening so continued reading.
