Something a bit different!

I've spent the day painting....great time, with the usual push and pull, love and hate relationship that always ensues.....but how i love it in all it's craziness! 

This is just the first go around with this one.   I don't usually try to create a painting from a sketch.....but i liked a particular sketch i did whilst sitting in the bar at the resort.....with all the chaos around me it was actually kinda fun to try and capture a few moments....so far this is called "Cuban Bar Scene".....i'm giving myself tomorrow to much about with paints so we'll see what happens.  this one is 14" x 14" cradled board.

In the extra:  a simpler composition inspired by just the bright colours of Cuba!  12" x 12" cradled board.
