Eid al Fitr

Still no rain here despite the cloudy conditions for most of the day.

A morning visit to the local supermarket was followed by a serious reorganisation of our garage. We finally emptied the very last of the cardboard boxes from our move. If we wanted to we could now easily park the car in there, but I don’t think we will!

Ramadan concluded today with Eid al Fitr. Some U.K. Moslems were having to resort to food banks to create their traditional breaking of the month’s fast due to the cost of living crisis.

The news coverage of the war in Ukraine is also increasingly harrowing. I know that we are not alone in our sense of helplessness at what is happening.
