Old Water Wheel

Not long after the sun came up, I drove up the Cardrona Valley to see what the colours were doing.  Every year I try to get a photo of the water wheel, with the autumn colours in the background.  It makes a lovely scene in the early morning sunlight.  It is no longer in use, as the stream is dry.  One of my church friends can remember when it was working in the 'good old days'.   

After breakfast had a nice stroll into town and back, haven't quite clocked up 10K steps though.  I'll do that now.  The extra is of the Autumn view from my decking.  Another stunning day.
