Come Back Here

It might be May already, but it doesn't feel like it. The weather has been so cold, windy and cloudy, it's more suited to February and even though there are a few flowers and green shoots emerging, spring still seems not to have got going.

Yet here is evidence that things were underway. The goslings have appeared, in this family perhaps only one, but other groups are about with a higher count to their number.

Although I got detail on the mother, the chick evaded me. Perhaps I'll get another chance on a better day.
