Life at 50mm

Avoiding The Tellybox .....

I'm not into politics, but I'm old enough to remember the bad old days of the Thatcher administration. So I had no desire to watch any of todays proceedings, which I was assured were being broadcast on most of the TV channels.
That was excuse enough to grab the camera, don my jacket and head out . . .

Braving the savage, gusty wind I made my way to my usual spot beside the small pool at Park Lime Pits, and spent a pleasant hour watching the Nuthatches feed. The 50mm is a great lens, but suitable for shooting birdlife it aint - next time I'll lug along the 200mm lens and tripod, and see if I can persuade them to become Blipfoto stars . .. .
