May Day

" Sing a song of Maytime 
Sing a song of Spring
Flowers are in the hedgerow
Birdies on the wing..."

Learnt when I was in infant school.  Funny how some things stick.

 Today it felt more like winter again. It felt   cold.   
But the hawthorn blossom is opening up and the forecast is for it to get warmer...soon.
