Pink treat

Probably the last of the forced rhubarb for this year. I had an evening trip to the allotment to water my little hornbeam hedge and dig up the spinach which has bolted. We’ve not had rain for weeks and it looks as if growth of some plants is slowing because of the dryness. The rhubarb is now stewed and ready for the freezer. A sweet pink treat for later in the year.
