Collage of chicks.

The blackbird chicks have been keeping me amused. They can, at last, feed themselves. They have been trying to get in the basket where the food is. The parents can get in easily but the chicks are having to learn how. They have been clamouring about on top of the basket then diving head first through the mesh. As the day has gone on they have become more adept at this. At first they were falling in a heap. The top two pictures are two different chicks; one is darker than the other. As you can see they both managed to get in.
