Ushaw College, Durham

This building was a seminary and school where mostly rich boys were educated. It was run by the Catholic Church and when the boys were finished their schooling they could decide to remain at the college and train as priests.
We had a wonderful guide called Clare who was entertaining and informative.  Highly recommended.  The pictures show the contrast between the students dining room and the masters as well as the Chapel.
