Rydal Mists

A great day, which started at Rydal, taking photos in a mix of mist and drizzle.

After breakfast we took the coffin route from Grasmere to Rydal Mount, before heading on to Ambleside.  A bit of retail therapy around the multitude of outdoor shops before a vegetarian meal at Zeffirelli’s.  The day got better and better with sunshine breaking through late morning and staying with us the rest of the day.

After a lovely meal we caught the open top bus back to the hotel, before I had a walk with the infrared camera around the village.

Unfortunately, I can’t process the images on the laptop; some forgetful person didn’t put the charger in the bag when we left home. Still there’s more than one way to download images these days, though the images are pretty much out of the camera,
