There have been growing numbers of reports of low morale among Russian troops and videos posted on social media of them angry. The Pentagon says entire Russian units laid down their weapons rather than fight and some have surrendered en masse.
The Ukrainian band that are also now soldiers, that wanted to be part of the Birmingham fundraiser were told no, because they were part of the military and the event was focused on the humanitarian aspect. Hmm. Anyway, the band is called Antytiila and they got together with Ed Sheeran, an English singer, and did a remix of 2step to benefit the war effort. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJ2B4Fb7xQQ The Ukrainian singer, Topolia's part of the video was filmed with a GoPro. The video is the story of his family on the first day of the invasion. Proceeds of the song will fund humanitarian operations.
The company that made Lego molotov cocktails, Citizen Brick, raised more than $145,000 for Direct Relief.
Russian state-run media outlet RIA Novosti reported that Ukraine's military practiced black magic to stop the invasion. Sputnik, a Kremlin-backed news agency, reported that "traces of black magic rituals" were discovered in an abandoned Ukrainian military headquarters in Donbas. Yes, that must be it.
