Local election day

If I'd had red tulips to hand I would have blipped them, in lieu of Labour red roses. As it is, these blowsy tulips are today's blip, as they start to arch gracefully in their old age.
Richard and I voted early, as he had a meeting to get to in Hull later in the morning. I went back to bed for part of the day, having had a restless night.
Fingers crossed for a good turnout, and for some serious Tory losses - how deeply they deserve those.
