Another Tulip ......

......... from my birthday flowers.

Not my very best effort but I wanted to catch this tulip before all the petals fell off (which they did as I put the vase back onto the windowsill - so I was just in time!!) - I am still having issues with red flowers but I do like this shot. A couple of very unusual tulips in this bunch - extremely pretty!!!


I used natural light from the window and a +2 magnifying lens on my 50mm prime and a quick spray of water.

Thank you for all your comments on my Cologne shot yesterday - have to admit to being surprised at how many of you liked it and could see what I was trying to do - much appreciated.
