Becoming a Teenager !

I had a busy day teaching 2 yoga classes , one on Zoom ( due to the hall being used for local elections ) and the offer class was in Annan.
I was lucky enough to be invited to dinner with my American friends, their son was turning 13 . I had made him a cake a Bakewell Tart sponge cake . It had ground almonds and essence in the sponge , cherry jam in the middle , and roasted flaked almond on the top. A Mary Berry recipe. Ben loved it ! I also bought him some origami paper , for his hobby.
We had veggie haggis and roasted veg for the main, which was scrumptious.
Afterwards I went to see my Mum in the care home . She was happy to see me. I helped her with phone calls to her friend Nellie , my partner and my son.
