SILLY SATURDAY - WE STILL MISS ADMIRER!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Well, we have to say that it is lovely for us all to be back together again and of course, we have all been very excited to meet the new member of our Silly Saturday Gang. However, we fear that Mrs. HCB has made a big gaffe!

Mrs. HCB assumed that our new member was a “Larry” but with all those curls and such a cute little face, we have discovered that SHE is not a HE but is a “Laura” - however could she make that mistake - and how silly is that?  We do miss Admirer and think this would have made her laugh and we’re sure SHE wouldn’t have made the same mistake!

That said, Laura is rather concerned because she thinks that before long, her lovely curly wool will be chopped off to make more Dryer Balls like the ones you can see in the bag.  We understand that these go into the tumble dryer and make for quicker drying of wet clothes - but these have yet to be used, so watch this space and of course, Laura doesn’t come from New Zealand but from Yorkshire, so she is hoping that will help!  Of course, we could play with them instead of putting them in the dryer - and that would be great fun, but just indoors for today.

We are now about to open the goodies that Mrs. HCB brought back from Yorkshire - you will remember that she originally bought TWO bars of chocolate but ate one of them on the way home on the train, so she bought us a box of biscuits to make up for that.  I’m sure we will enjoy them with our hot chocolate later.

We won’t be going outside today because it has been raining - and Mr. HCB is really pleased about that - but he says it’s not enough!  What is it with these people - they ask for rain, then when it comes, they grumble that it’s not enough - we know Mr. HCB is thinking of his garden and all the things he has planted, but we want to go out to play!

We hope you all have a good weekend - we might even play Hide and Seek so that Laura can find her way around the house, but of course, we will make sure that we hide the chocolate in a very good place so that Mrs. “Chocoholic and Chocolate Pincher” HCB isn’t able to find it because if she does, it won’t last long!
