After the Rain

I joined our local camera club for an evening photoshoot at Blakeney.  We'd had no rain for several weeks and just before the photoshoot we had quite a downpour.  Undeterred, I went along anyway, prepared to sit in my car if necessary and wait to see if the rain stopped.  Fortunately it stopped about 5 minutes after I parked.  We didn't have an amazing sunset sadly but the sky was interesting and as the tide was out the water in the channel, although low, was very still so it was reflecting the clouds rather well.

The extra is a mono taken closer to the quay.  The conditions may not have been perfect but it was beautifully quiet and tranquil and very calming just being out there watching the fading light and listening to the redshanks and curlews.
