Beautiful Bluebells

I'm a day behind with my blip.  B and I had a glorious time photographing the beautiful bluebells in Blickling Great Wood.  I find it very difficult to do them justice when I photograph them and so I've gone with some alternative shots. See Bom's blip for the bigger picture

The extras include a close up of the stunning flower heads and a Yellow Archangel which provided some yellow contrast amongst all the blue.  Having looked it up in my flower book, it's a member of the mint family (not related to nettles which I first thought).

Just to make the morning complete, we heard a cuckoo!
