Agave flower

This is a portion of an agave flower. The picture was made in Lincoln, New Mexico, where I was on a field trip with UNM continuing ed. We ate lunch at the Wortley Hotel which was very nice. This is Billy the Kid country and Lincoln was the scene of many events in his life which centered around the Lincoln County War. Then we went to the Hondo Iris Farm and saw an overwhelming number of beautiful flowers.

Today I give thanks for the day I was given, a wonderful day with my friend Connie, making new friends and seeing some really interesting stuff.
