Crab apple blossom

N was given this weeping crab apple as a gift nearly a year ago so we haven’t seen it in blossom until this year. It is truly beautiful with this plum-coloured blossom and the leaves a dark reddish-green. We planted it in our back lawn with plenty of space to expand so we look forward to watching it develop over the years.
I had hoped to post a picture of Bertie at his second agility class but we were kept far too busy for such frivolous things as photography! However, I can report that our wee boy was a star. Never having encountered some of these obstacles before, he conquered the weaving in and out of the six pole slalom, the bendy tunnel, the A-frame and the high board walk. He slept well after all this thinking!
