Orchard blossom

The day started quite early with a drive down to Craignure to deliver friends J and J to the ferry where they commenced their journey to France for a month’s holiday. Then it was back home to pick up N and Bertie so that we could go to the community orchard to join a work party. Originally, the forecast had been for rain but we were fortunate to end up with sunshine. The orchard looked lovely with the trees in blossom, the fruit cage weeded and all our sheds and woodpiles looking neat and tidy.
