Last day of Eid break

We went to Festival City today - mainly to pop into IKEA to see if they had the spare part for a side table. We ended up in M&S having lunch first, and by the time we finished, all we wanted was to come back home. So, no quick shop in Carrefour. We did call into IKEA for the part. The table is too old, so we'll have to try something else.

G has done an incredible job in her room. She's even emptied and got rid of three boxes. We need to make a few trips to the charity shop now. In the morning, I found her at her desk repairing the spines of some old Bibles that were given to her to pass on to anyone who wanted/needed them.

We caught up with some YouTube videos in the evening and watched the movie Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron after our hosts highly recommended it (on Friday night). It's so sad the holiday has come to an end, but I guess it will be good to be back into some sort of routine.

Oh, the car said 49degC when we got into it in the afternoon. Argh! It dropped to 38deg in the undercover car park at Festival City. The next few months are going to be brutal.
