An even even bester day

Honestly, this weekend has been entirely dreamy from start to end.

This morning Ellie and I were at a local church sharing about SYFC and it was super lovely. We had a great time together and it felt really beneficial and encouraging.

Then I headed down to the river to watch the regatta. I met up with Jen and super cute Erin to watch Isla race (she won) and generally spent the afternoon trying not to be hit over the head with bits of boating paraphernalia. It was fun to watch but Isla didn’t get to do much hanging out, what with racing and everything, so we headed to the pub to chat and catch up. What’s surprising is that my university friend has a teenager who is nearly 16. What’s not surprising but utterly wonderful is that said teenager is a total delight.

Bumped into a couple of run club friends at the pub then had a delightfully sunny cycle home.

Best weekend ever.
