Cold - ingham

What a fab work day. A great assembly with awards and very proud children. IN the afternoon our wee ones had a Daffodil Tea for Marie Curie. The boring lunch tables were covered in designer daffodil tea cloths painted by pupils, vases of daffodils arranged by pupils, cakes made by pupils, staff and families, juice (tea didn't pass the risk assessment!) and stunning entertainment by the children. I love to see them perform and ooze confidence on the stage, singing and dancing - so energised and enthused. It was heartwarming and as usual gave me a wee tear!

My friend and I agreed to meet at 5pm and head to the beach for a brisk and bracing walk. It was lovely to walk and talk - we did the figure of 8 walk and by then we were ready for a sherry!

What a great idea for a Thursday - hope the weather allows us to make that a ritual!! We should go whatever the weather.

Weekend tomorrow and just heard that Rosie and I had a sunrise photo in the Greenock Telegraph last night! I'll see it chez parnetals tomorrow evening! Yay!!
