Aunty Kath

A service of celebration so the order of service says and it truly was.

I have lots of happy memories of Aunty Kathleen, and it was lovely to share in the celebration of her life today with my cousins and their families. Interesting to hear that in her final few months when dementia hit she wanted to go home to Yorkshire. The flowers are from her funeral bouquet.

One of her granddaughters, who I had never met before, said my eyes when I smiled were like her grandma’s. I don’t think she knows how much that meant to me.

A sad but special day.
