Wanderings and meanders

Bluebell among wild garlic

Riccarton Campus, Edinburgh

A walk in the woods.  One person was more interested in sticks and trying to spot trains over the wall than the flowers or a long walk, so we left them with their favourite person to explore at their own pace.  Two of us continued on to enjoy the first rhododendron and azaleas.  There were some ducklings on the pond and a swan on a nest.  It was pretty overcast, but warm enough for early May and dry.
