Celebrating 77 years of freedom

It is wonderful to be free in so many ways, but also makes us think of those who are not free. My parents were children in the war, my Mum left Guernsey to be evacuated with the school and when she came back her Dad has passed away. My father in law stayed in Guernsey and they were really hungry, as well as not being in touch with loved ones, it’s sad now I write this because, these things and worse in the Ukrainian and other war torn areas. God Bless them all. So we finished with Fireworks, but we were a long way from town, and I was doing it freehand, but it gives you an idea, we saw the Cavalcade earlier in the day, so that Collage is in extras. It’s late now, I’m off to bed.
