Down by the river

Evening stroll down at the Nidd. I’m interested to see how Mrs Goosander and the babes are faring, and we feel lucky to see them. Her brood is looking good.  It’s a beautiful warm evening, we see a pair of partridges in the field, a baby robin on the path, and a grey wagtail.
