V&A

My pal and I were heading up to Aberdeen today for a night on the town. But the weather forecast for the afternoon was miserable so we had a long coffee and culture stop in Dundee at the V&A. Great building, interesting exhibition of design history of Scotland. Plenty of weird and wonderful to see.
We continued our journey north in the rain. Grim up there. But it brightened in the evening and we walked along the prom for dinner at a Turkish restaurant. Then onto the Beach Ballroom to see The Shires. This was a Christmas present from my son - and a great night out. They sung their hearts out - so pleased to be back in front of a live audience. Really enjoyed ourselves and tottered back to our accommodation happy.
